We are excited to announce that Dawn Meats Group, one of Europe’s leading food companies, has joined the SciFest Sponsor Community as a Bronze Sponsor. Speaking about the sponsorship, Gill Higgins, Head of Sustainability for Dawn Meats Group said:

“Dawn Meats are really thrilled to support the work of SciFest, Ireland’s largest STEM Fair programme which encourages our next generation of problem solvers, to take an interest in science and develop their communications skills.

Our partnership with SciFest, in collaboration with second and third level educators, industry and government, supports diversity and inclusion and offers second level students an opportunity to participate in a science fair, irrespective of their ability, background or circumstances.

At Dawn, our social sustainability strategy aims to have a positive impact in the communities where we operate and where our employees and their families live. SciFest’s local, regional and national reach aligns with our own outreach programme to support science, education and future generations.”

Speaking about the partnership, SciFest’s Founder and CEO, Sheila Porter said; ‘We are delighted that Dawn Meats have agreed to become a Bronze Sponsor of the SciFest programme. They join a growing, and increasingly diverse, community of sponsors who are making a valuable contribution to supporting and encouraging students in developing a range of 21st century skills. The SciFest programme is implemented throughout Ireland and many of the participating students are passionate about issues around agriculture and sustainability. We look forward to working with Dawn Meats to support our students as they explore these and other topics and seek solutions to real-world problems while developing a range of critical transferable skills.”
