Dawn Meats are delighted to have received recognition at the World Steak Challenge 2021 for the superior quality of our beef steak across a range of our premium brands. Securing awards in all 3 categories, this prestigious event reaffirms the high-quality of our naturally produced grass-fed beef.
Gold awards were secured across all brands entered including Black Angus, Red Hereford, Vintage Reserve and Green Pastures brands with an outstanding 3 golds awarded to our Dawn Meats Grass Fed range
The awards were announced virtually on Wednesday 10th November with the winners comprehensively judged against internationally recognised criteria for raw and cooked product which critiques appearance, flavour, aroma, succulence and tenderness.
The judging panel consisted of over 50 experts – from butchers, chefs and food technologists – plus an additional 28 consumer judges, who over the course of 12 hours blind tasted a record number of Striploin, Fillet and Ribeye steaks from over 20 different countries around the world.
